Channel U online television

Channel U is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel operated by Mediacorp, broadcasting in Mandarin. Launched in 2001 and part of the Mediacorp family since 2005, the channel targets younger and trend-conscious audiences with a lively mix of local productions and popular Asian imports. It complements its sister channel Channel 8 with a fresher, more youthful style, and over two decades it has become a fixture of evening entertainment in Singaporean homes.

The channel built its reputation on local productions and talent. The singing competition Project SuperStar became one of Singapore's most popular talent shows, discovering a generation of Mandopop artists. Locally produced dramas and infotainment programmes remain a staple of the evening schedule.

Channel U is also the home of popular Taiwanese and Korean drama series as well as hit variety and entertainment shows from across Asia, subtitled or dubbed for Singaporean viewers. Music countdowns, game shows and festive specials round out a schedule designed for family viewing with a youthful energy.

Viewers can follow the Singapore Live Stream of the channel at any time and watch Channel U online directly in the browser, without registration or additional equipment, enjoying Singaporean entertainment television from anywhere in the world.
