The evening baseball desk had useful lineup updates and a few thoughtful comments from former players. It was informative without dragging, though the commercial breaks felt a bit long.

Tonight's basketball roundup was a useful change from the usual baseball coverage, with quick scores and enough analysis to keep it interesting without dragging.

Spanish sports coverage works well

The election coverage is at its best when reporters challenge candidates instead of simply repeating campaign slogans. I would like more time devoted to explaining the cost of proposed policies, not just the latest poll numbers.

Caught the late baseball recap after work and enjoyed the player interviews more than the game highlights. The Spanish commentary is energetic, though the segment ended a little abruptly.

The local news is strongest when it gets beyond headlines and explains what a policy means for ordinary people. The election debates can be noisy, but the business updates and weather reports are usually clear and useful.

After lunch, I tuned in for the afternoon sports bulletin and stayed for the baseball analysis. The pace is lively, though some segments feel a little rushed.

The morning news blocks give a solid mix of local headlines, weather, and business updates, while the election debates add some much-needed context. The scrolling ticker is a little too fast to read comfortably, though.

Watching from abroad, I usually tune in for the Sunday evening baseball recap and the interviews with Dominican players. The stream held up well on a slow hotel connection, though the picture softened briefly, and it is still more convenient than arranging a cable package overseas.

Finding CDN Deportes was quick, and I like that the guide shows what is playing without a login. The stream was mostly smooth on my phone, with one brief lag.
