Canal 24 Horas Catalunya online television

Canal 24 Horas Catalunya is the regional news channel of Catalonia, produced by the public broadcasting network of Catalonia and broadcast from Barcelona. It brings news, culture and the everyday life of Catalonia to viewers at home and abroad, from the metropolis of Barcelona to the towns, valleys and coastline of the region, reflecting a community with its own language and traditions.

The news backbone is the regional bulletin, which reports on the Catalan government and parliament, the economy and industry, tourism, public safety, transport and the life of the neighbourhoods and towns of the region, with short reports from across Catalonia and interviews with the people involved. Magazine programmes look at local projects, the history, language, culture and traditions of Catalonia, while the schedule also carries series, comedy and documentaries. Sport, and football in particular, keeps a steady place in the grid, and weekend programmes fill the afternoons.

For viewers in Catalonia and for Catalans living abroad, the channel is a daily window on home.
