BX1 online television
BX1 is the French-language public-service television channel of the Brussels-Capital Region in Belgium, broadcasting under the slogan Capter Bruxelles. It began life in 1985 as Télé Bruxelles, a community broadcaster created alongside the young Brussels region, moved from a weekly slot on an RTBF channel to its own frequency with a daily newscast in 1988, and took its current name in January 2016 as it grew into a multimedia news platform spanning television, the web and, since September 2019, the BX1+ web radio.
News anchors the day: the midday appointment Le 12h30, broadcast simultaneously on radio and television, and the evening newscast Le 18h from Monday to Friday, with one bulletin a day at the weekend. Around them sit the society magazines Bonsoir Bruxelles, Versus and Le Débrief, the public-affairs formats Mont des Arts and Séance publique, and the cultural magazines Le Courrier Recommandé and ArchiUrbain. Sport and city life appear through Bruxelles Bouge and Foutsal, while 60' Libres and À Travers Le Miroir cover lifestyle. The channel is carried on Proximus, VOO and Telenet in Brussels and, since 2015, across Wallonia.
Watch Live when Le 18h goes out, because the BX1 Live Stream carries the same feed that Brussels households receive on cable channel 10. Use this TV Online service on a phone, a tablet, a computer or a television set, Watch TV Online Free wherever the feed is open, stream online when the city council sits, and keep the Belgium Live Stream running for the news of Europe's capital.
