Bungo TV online television

Bungo TV is a local Indonesian station based in Muara Bungo, the seat of Bungo regency in Jambi. Its own line is Selalu di Hati. The station is run by PT Bungo Media Televisi and describes itself as the only television station in Bungo, under the management of the Jawa Pos Group, with the studio in Muara Bungo. It goes out on channel 40 UHF. The news it carries is about Muara Bungo, Bungo and the surroundings, for viewers in Muara Bungo, Bungo, Tebo, Merangin, Sarolangun and, across the provincial line, Dharmasraya in West Sumatra.

The titled news strand is Kabar Jambi. Editions on the station have taken up land fires, rice-planting figures and civil-registry matters in Jambi and Bungo, rather than a national bulletin. Lentera Bungo is a separate titled strand; one edition followed a Bungo winner of a national literacy contest under the line Dari Bungo untuk Indonesia. The station also labels some editions as a talk show, including one on gold investment for people in Bungo. What airs is local reporting plus the occasional longer strand, not a relay of a national network.
