BTV live stream

BTV online television

BTV is a Ugandan entertainment channel, and the international catalog is explicit about what is known and what is not: the record reads BTV.ug, country UG, category entertainment, network Impact Media Consortium, adult flag false, with no launch date, no closing date, no owner and no alternative names. The consortium calls itself a faith-based broadcasting group working through uplifting messages, wholesome entertainment, candid news and instructive programs, and its front page presents itself as home to four services: DreamTV, ImpactFM, BTV and Alpha Digital. Of those four the catalog lists three as religious and this one alone as entertainment.

The group website gives every service its own page, and this channel's page is the odd one out: its document title, its meta description and its visible heading all name a different service, while the feed embedded on that very page is precisely the address the catalog publishes for BTV.ug. Two of the five pages share one feed address, one has its own, the radio arm declares two on different ports, and the template detail page returns an error. Carriage numbers sit in the footer of every page: 815 and 286 on subscription platforms, 531 on a satellite position, 036 free to air, plus a cable position 368 only on this channel's page.

The feed is a five-rung ladder declared at 4096000, 2048000, 1152000, 448000 and 288000 bits per second, with no resolution or codec line in the manifest; the catalog labels it 480p with no part-day warning. Measured on real segments the top rung delivers about 0.40 megabits per second, the middle 0.26 and the bottom 0.14, so the declared figures are nominal.
