Bolajon is the children's channel of MTRK, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the state broadcaster that runs its networks from Tashkent in Uzbek and Russian. The channel grew out of Yoshlar, the youth network of the same company, and it joined a wave of new MTRK channels that reached the air during 2013; on 1 June 2026 the station marked its 13th anniversary with a special edition of the daily current affairs programme Bugun. The name is an affectionate Uzbek word for a child, and the schedule is built for pre school and primary school age viewers.
