BIG Civic Channel is the municipal television channel of Brookline, Massachusetts, operated by Brookline Interactive Group, the community media center that has served the town for more than forty years. BIG describes itself as an integrated media and technology education center and a community media hub for Brookline and the wider region, and it works from 46 Tappan Street, in the Unified Arts Building beside the Brookline Hills T stop. The civic feed sits inside a local lineup that also carries Access Channel 3, the municipal channels 23 and 15, and an HD feed on channel 613.

What runs here is local government in full: Town Meeting, boards and committees, and coverage of bodies such as the Conservation Commission, the Police Commissioners Advisory Committee, the Zero Emissions Advisory Board and the Park and Recreation Commission. Recordings are published through the Civic Brookline hub, which keeps a schedule, a searchable archive and a Town Meeting dashboard for the 2026 sessions held in the Brookline High School auditorium. Alongside the coverage BIG funds hyperlocal storytelling, runs classes for more than 500 youth and adults a year, lends equipment and works with the Cortico AI Local Voices Network on recorded conversations with residents.
