Bibel TV Impuls live stream

Bibel TV Impuls online television

Bibel TV Impuls is the sermon channel of the German Christian broadcaster Bibel TV, listed on the network website as the Impuls Predigt-Kanal and streamed around the clock. It carries preaching, Bible reading and teaching in German and works as a pure online service: the signal is received through bibeltv.de and through the Bibel TV apps rather than through a separate satellite transponder. The parent station has been on air since 1 October 2002, is run by a charitable non-profit foundation in Hamburg and finances itself mainly through donations from its viewers.

The schedule is built from sermons, Bible studies, theological talks and devotional programmes, with preachers from German congregations and international ministries, plus advice formats such as Joyce Meyer - Das Leben genießen from the main channel. Impuls is one of several livestreams that Bibel TV operates side by side: the main programme, the Catholic channel K-TV, the international network EWTN, Hope TV, the testimony channel EchtJetzt and the ecumenical platform MeinGottesdienst, which carries services from congregations of different denominations. Sixteen shareholders stand behind the group, among them the Norman Rentrop Foundation with a good half of the shares and the Protestant and the Catholic churches with 12.75 percent each; since February 2013 the managing director is Matthias Brender.

Reception is straightforward: the stream runs in a browser, in the mobile app, in the Kids App, on smart TVs and through HbbTV, and the network adds a free Mediathek, the online Bible Bibelthek and a reading plan portal.
