The night views make a great backdrop for reruns of old travel series, especially on a quiet weekend when I want something relaxing on screen.

I keep this on during late evenings to get a feel for Bangkok before a trip, especially when the camera passes neon market stalls and busy sidewalks. It is more useful than a travel documentary for atmosphere, though the picture can feel a little quiet on slower nights.
