Checking in from Canada, I love seeing Etna's changing smoke and rocky landscape in real time. It feels surprisingly peaceful for a live volcano.

I checked the Etna feed before a trip to Sicily and liked having the summit view from abroad. It loaded steadily on a slow evening, although the fixed angles can feel repetitive when there is no smoke or visible activity.

I tuned in for a few minutes of live volcano watching and ended up staying for the shifting smoke, rugged slopes, and the chance of a surprise eruption.
