It was easy to find this City Hall feed, and I could start watching without signing up. The free stream loaded quickly on my phone too.

I am watching from Canada, and the Des Moines view gives me a nice glimpse of downtown life in another country. The mix of older buildings and newer towers is easy to enjoy.

I like checking the Des Moines skyline around sunset, when the City Hall viewpoint catches the office lights coming on and traffic settling downtown. From abroad, it is a simple travel window into Iowa, though the picture can feel a little quiet on slow evenings.
