I checked the Midway webcam from overseas before a Chicago trip and found it surprisingly helpful for judging the weather and runway activity. On a slow evening it is mostly a quiet view of the tarmac, but the occasional landing makes it more informative than a generic cable travel channel.

I keep this airport stream running quietly while I work. The runway activity gives the room some background energy without becoming too distracting.
