The steady flow of arrivals and departures is strangely calming. I keep this running while working and glance over whenever a new aircraft rolls into view.

Watching from Ireland, I enjoy seeing how quickly the ground crews turn aircraft around at JFK. The mix of domestic jets and long-haul traffic keeps the stream interesting.

I kept this on during a late evening layover and enjoyed spotting the wide-body arrivals, especially the 777s coming in over the approach path. The picture stayed steady even when the airport slowed down, though a little more runway variety would make it even better for viewers watching from abroad.
