I often leave the Gengda panda cam on during a slow evening, especially around dinner when the pandas settle in with bamboo. It is calmer than most cable programming and a lovely travel-day companion, though the fixed view can feel uneventful when nobody is climbing or playing.

I usually come here for headlines, but this panda cam is a welcome break from election arguments and market panic. The bamboo schedule seems more reliable than most political promises.
