I checked the Castlepoint view from overseas before a planned trip, and it was reassuring to see the surf and weather changing in real time. It is not a substitute for a full coastal documentary, but on a slow evening the steady waves make a surprisingly relaxing watch.

I tuned in for the morning weather bulletin and stayed for the surf report. The live view gives the forecast a much more convincing sense of the coastal conditions.

The rugged coastline makes a great backdrop while I watch classic films or old adventure series. A weekend movie marathon with this view would be perfect.
