Watching on my laptop tonight, the HD picture is crisp and the sound stays in sync, though it took nearly a minute to settle into full quality.

The weekend movie lineup has a cozy feel, especially when an older Odia classic turns up. I usually let the reruns play while making tea and end up watching much more than planned.

I wish more of the Jatra recordings had subtitles, but the performances are still easy to get drawn into.

I put on an old Odia film after dinner and enjoyed the simple story and memorable songs. The sudden schedule change was confusing, but the movie made for a relaxing watch.

The HD picture came through sharply on my Fire Stick, with steady sound and no buffering during the entire Jatra performance.
