The short news breaks are a decent check-in, but the scrolling ticker races past before I can read it. A slower pace would make the current affairs coverage much better.

I mainly check the short local updates and weather reports, especially before traveling around Medina. The current affairs coverage is calm but limited, and a fuller business segment would make the channel more informative.

The HD feed loads quickly on my laptop, with clear picture, balanced sound, and no buffering during the evening broadcast.

The live view of the Prophet's Mosque and the soft recitation make this an easy stream to return to whenever I need a quiet moment.

During a layover in Istanbul, I watched the evening coverage of the Prophet's Mosque on my phone, and the stream held up well on hotel Wi-Fi. The picture was a little softer than cable, but the quiet recitation made it a worthwhile travel companion.
