Al Araby TV 2

A classic film rerun is exactly what I look for on a quiet weekend night.

The weather segment was concise, but the business headlines felt rushed. By the time the presenter explained the currency move, the ticker had already moved on to three unrelated stories.

Watching the late documentary slot from abroad has become part of my routine, especially on quiet evenings when the stream stays steady and the stories give a useful sense of the region. The film choices are less consistent than cable, but the reliable access makes up for that when I am travelling.

Tonight's documentary on changing city life was thoughtful without feeling too heavy. The interviews were brief, but each one added a useful perspective.

The election coverage has plenty of energy, but the panel would be stronger with fewer interruptions and more room for ordinary voters' concerns. The reporting itself is clear and well paced.
