I checked this webcam from abroad before a morning boat trip, and the live harbor view gave me a useful sense of the weather and ferry activity. It is not a substitute for a travel documentary, but the stream stayed watchable on a slow evening with only a brief pause.

I checked the harbor before a ferry day and liked seeing the boats and nearby islands in real time, especially around sunset. On a slow evening the image paused once or twice, but it was still more useful for travel planning than guessing from a cable weather report.

The picture stays crisp in HD, and the stream runs smoothly on my laptop without buffering or distracting drops.

The bay view is great, but I would love a weekend marathon of classic films in the background while watching the boats come and go.
