CCTV 4
Portugal
CCTV 4 is a Chinese-language general entertainment channel available in Portugal. Its programming draws primarily from mainland Chinese television, including news bulletins, documentary series, and cultural features that cover history, travel, and contemporary life. The schedule also includes dramas, variety shows, and music programs, with a focus on content that reflects Chinese perspectives and traditions. Viewers in Portugal can access the channel through certain cable and satellite packages that carry international Chinese-language services.
Some of the documentaries and cultural segments are produced in partnership with Chinese state media, offering coverage of topics like traditional festivals, infrastructure projects, and regional cuisine. The channel does not broadcast local Portuguese programming or advertising tailored to the Portuguese market. Online streaming of CCTV 4 is available through its official website and mobile app, though regional restrictions may apply. TV guide listings for the channel in Portugal are published by local operators and can vary depending on the provider.
