PBS America ist ein in der Schweiz empfangbarer Fernsehsender, der vorwiegend Dokumentationen und faktische Inhalte ausstrahlt. Der Sender überträgt weder Live-Nachrichten noch Sport und wird auf Englisch ausgestrahlt. Zuschauer in der Schweiz können den Sender über ausgewählte Kabel- und Satellitenplattformen empfangen, wobei der Fokus auf Bildungs- und Kulturinhalten liegt, nicht auf Unterhaltung oder Kindersendungen.
