PBS KIDS HD je dětská televizní služba dostupná po celých Spojených státech, zaměřená na vzdělávací programy pro předškolní a mladší školní publikum. Stanice vysílá animované i hrané seriály, které kladou důraz na čtenářskou gramotnost, matematiku, přírodní vědy, sociálně-emocionální učení a kreativní objevování. Obsah je strukturován kolem věkově přiměřených příběhů a postav s důrazem na řešení problémů a zvídavost. Program je sestaven z denních bloků, které opakují klíčové epizody v různých časech, aby děti mohly sledovat dopoledne, odpoledne nebo v podvečer. Pořady nejsou přerušovány reklamními přestávkami, protože financování pochází z příspěvků diváků a grantů, nikoli z příjmů z reklamy. Stanice neuvádí filmy, zpravodajství, sport ani hudební videoklipy; její program tvoří výhradně kurikulární seriály vytvořené veřejnop
