MGM Presents: Westerns čerpá svůj program z rozsáhlé filmové knihovny Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer a zaměřuje se na westernový žánr tak, jak se vyvíjel v americké kinematografii. Diváci ve Spojených státech mohou vidět klasické celovečerní filmy z poloviny 20. století, včetně děl režiséra Johna Forda a herců jako James Stewart nebo John Wayne. Kanál také zařazuje pozdější revizionistické westerny z 60. a 70. let, stejně jako televizní seriály původně vyrobené pro vysílání v sítích. Dokumenty o Divokém západě a krátké filmy o natáčení občas vyplňují mezery mezi filmovými projekcemi.
