Союз online television

Союз is a Russian Orthodox Christian television channel broadcasting from Yekaterinburg, Russia, in the Urals region. Launched in the early 2000s with the blessing of the local diocese, it became one of the first church-related broadcasters in Russia and today reaches Orthodox viewers across the country and abroad with spiritual and educational programming in Russian.

The schedule is built around live divine services from Orthodox churches and monasteries, allowing viewers to join liturgies and prayer services on great feasts and ordinary days alike. Spiritual talk programs bring priests, theologians, and lay guests into the studio to discuss faith, family life, raising children, and Christian answers to the questions of modern society. The channel also presents documentaries about church history, the lives of saints, pilgrimages to holy places, and the spiritual heritage of Russian monasteries. Children's programs introduce young viewers to Orthodox traditions, Bible stories, and church holidays in a warm and accessible way.

Союз is available for live TV and online television viewing, so audiences can watch Союз online through live streaming at any time of day. For Orthodox believers in Russia and the Russian-speaking diaspora around the world, the channel offers daily prayer, teaching, and words of consolation. With its calm tone and faithful focus on the Gospel, Союз remains a trusted spiritual companion for its viewers. The broadcast day begins with morning prayer and ends with evening spiritual reading, following the rhythm of the church calendar. Special attention is given to great feasts such as Easter and Christmas, when the channel shows festive services and concerts of church music. The channel can be watched on cable and satellite packages in many regions as well as on the official website and mobile devices, so the viewer always stays connected to the life of the church.
