TVR Parlemen online television

TVR Parlemen (Parliament Television and Radio) is a television and radio channel owned by the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), operating as a production unit under the Parliamentary News Bureau of the DPR RI General Secretariat. The channel was inaugurated on January 8, 2007, by the then-Chairman of the DPR RI, Agung Laksono, and originated from an initiative called Swara (Voice) which had been broadcasting since 1999 through a collaboration with USAID and IFES, modeled on C-SPAN in the United States. Its headquarters are located at the Parliamentary Complex in Central Jakarta, and it operates under the slogan Referensi Indonesia (Indonesia's Reference). As a dedicated source for online television, TVR Parlemen is tasked with broadcasting live activities of the DPR RI, parliamentary news, and educational programs related to legislation for the wider public.

The programming schedule allows viewers to watch live channel coverage of live broadcasts of commission meetings and plenary sessions of the DPR RI, which are transmitted non-stop through specialized commission channels. Regular news program productions include TVR 120, TVR 09, and TVR 17, which present news packages about DPR RI activities directly from the TVR Parlemen studio. Soft news and feature programs include Sudut Dengar Parlemen, Intips (Information and Tips), Kabar Nusantara, Aksi Dewan, Perempuan Parlemen, House News, Ini Parlemen, and Parlemen Newsroom, which are packaged comprehensively and informatively. Some of these programs are hosted by presenter Dady Ramadhan. Additional productions include Editorial Parlemen and Lensa Parlemen, providing deeper insights into the council's performance. The channel also provides a Radio Parlemen service, which was launched online on February 4, 2017.

For audiences seeking a reliable live stream of legislative activities, TVR Parlemen broadcasts reach almost all of Indonesia through various digital platforms. In addition to limited terrestrial broadcasting, the channel can be accessed through subscription television providers such as First Media (channel 18). The channel is highly active digitally as tv online, providing free live streaming through its official website at tvrparlemen.dpr.go.id as well as through the official DPR RI and TVR Parlemen YouTube channels. As part of its modern transformation, in December 2025 the DPR RI Secretariat General established new guidelines requiring the application of official watermarks to all broadcast content as a standardization of public assets.
