TV Bahia is a Brazilian television station based in Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia, and the local affiliate of TV Globo. Part of the Rede Bahia media group, the station has been on the air since 1985, broadcasting in Portuguese on channel 11 and reaching millions of viewers across one of Brazil's most vibrant and musical states, famous for its carnival, its cuisine and its Afro-Brazilian heritage.

Local journalism is the heart of the station: the midday newscast Bahia Meio Dia follows the day's events in Salvador and the interior of the state, while the evening BATV wraps up the headlines for Bahian families at dinner time. Around them, the national Globo schedule brings telenovelas, Sunday entertainment and football, making the channel the constant companion of everyday life in Bahia.
