TV 16 Toronto online television

TV 16 Toronto is a community television channel from Toronto, the largest city of Canada. Airing in English, it belongs to the long tradition of local and community broadcasting in North America, where city channels give residents a screen for their own stories – from neighborhood initiatives to municipal life in one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

Channels of this kind typically center on local news and community events: coverage of city council and public consultations, cultural festivals, charity initiatives and educational programs produced with the participation of residents. In a city as diverse as Toronto, such television gives space to communities and voices that rarely appear on national networks, reflecting the everyday life of neighborhoods across the GTA.

Viewers can follow community channels like TV 16 Toronto through online television platforms. Watch TV Online on a smart TV, tablet or computer, and keep local Toronto television within reach – at home in the city or following from anywhere in Canada and abroad, every day of the week. Local television remains the most direct window onto the life of the community. In a city where over 180 languages are spoken, community broadcasting remains one of the few places where every voice can find its audience. From Scarborough to Etobicoke, from North York to the downtown core, the stories of Toronto's neighborhoods deserve their own screen.
