TV6 online television

TV6 was a Malaysian free-to-air television channel owned by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), the country's national public broadcaster headquartered at Angkasapuri, Kuala Lumpur. Carried on the MYTV digital terrestrial platform, the channel broadcast in Malay to households across the country as part of RTM's family of public channels.

During its years on air, TV6 offered a general public-service mix typical of the state broadcaster: Malay-language news updates, talk and magazine segments, cultural and religious content, and entertainment programs for family viewing, complementing RTM's flagship channels TV1 and TV2. RTM launched the channel as part of its digital expansion on the MYTV platform, aiming to give public-service content more room outside the crowded schedules of its two flagship networks. The channel was available to all MYTV viewers at no cost and also appeared on RTM's online platforms.

On 30 June 2026, TV6 ceased broadcasting on MYTV as part of a reorganisation of RTM's channel line-up, and its frequencies were reassigned to other services. This page remains as a reference to the channel: viewers looking for Malaysian public broadcasting today can turn to RTM's TV1, TV2, Okey and Berita RTM services, and to the broadcaster's streaming platform RTMKlik, which continues to carry RTM programming online around the clock, every day.
