The organization was founded on November 20, 2006, under the name Radio Cadena Voces (RCV), and is headquartered in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, at Edificio Classic, Bulevar Morazán. The organization's slogan is "La Voz de las Noticias" (The Voice of the News). The channel is part of Grupo INVOSA, with Leonel Alejandro Giannini Espinal serving as the Executive President. The organization celebrated its 19th anniversary in 2025 and has been recognized as a member of the Inter-American Press Association (SIP), with its president serving on the SIP Board of Directors.

Journalist Claudia Cáceres was intercepted and intimidated by masked individuals from the Libre party outside the National Electoral Council offices in January 2026, an incident widely reported as an attack on press freedom. News director Dagoberto Rodríguez filed a formal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against General Roosevelt Hernández, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, for aggression, threats, and defamation after being labeled a "hitman of the truth" in an official military publication. The outlet also faced a criminal complaint from the Ministry of Finance after reporting an alleged 6.5 billion lempira overdraft in the General Treasury of the Republic, which was condemned by the College of Journalists and the Inter-American Press Association as an attempt at intimidation and criminalization of the press.
