Amga TV online television

Amga TV is the television service of the Armenian Media Group of America, a company established in November 1999 that built its audience in Southern California and produces programmes every day for the Armenian communities of Glendale and Los Angeles. The channel broadcasts in Armenian, Russian and English, around the clock and seven days a week, and its daily output reaches viewers on basic cable systems such as Charter Communications, on digital antenna channel 10.6, and across the United States, Canada and Mexico through the GlobeCastWorld TV satellite, besides the live stream on its own site.

The schedule is published day by day on the official site, which keeps sections for the shows, the weekly grid from Monday to Sunday, live television, videos and photos, and news split into economy, culture, health, press review and other news. The line-up mixes current affairs with community programming: AMGA News covers the United States, the latest political events, the crime chronicle and the faces in the news; Himnaqar, which translates as Keystone, takes the central stone of an arch as its image for the healthy family that holds a community together; Reverend Berj Djambazian is a motivational programme addressed to viewers of any religion; and Harmony TV is devoted to art from the Renaissance to the present. Guests in the studio include politicians, lawyers, doctors, businessmen and artists.

The stream runs in high definition at 1920 by 1080 and needs no set-top box to stream online: Watch Live from a browser, a television or a phone, and the current programme is already on air.
