Amedia 2 online television

Amedia 2, rebranded in 2016 as A2, is a Russian subscription channel of series built on melodramas, comedies and historical dramas, one of the four premium channels of the AMEDIA TV family, together with AMEDIA Premium, AMEDIA Hit and AMEDIA 1. Its page repeats four lines: world premieres, legendary classics, projects from all over the world, no advertising. The group took the official status Home of HBO in July 2017, with exclusive rights to almost the whole catalogue of the American network in Russia, and the channel carried no advertising blocks in Russia as early as New Year 2014.

The grid is a continuous run of series, with premieres in fixed evening slots and a film mid-evening. The schedule published by the channel carries the second season of the family saga Saga o Forsaytakh, or The Forsyte Saga, the mystery series Svidetelstva paranormalnogo, the detective story Sledstvie vyodyot missis Sidkhu, the period piece Chaynyy salon La Moderna and the film Lekarstvo ot zdorovya. The catalogue runs from classics of the genre to premieres of the leading studios, dubbed into Russian. The channel is carried by satellite and cable operators and appears in the packages of the large pay-television providers next to its three sisters; in October 2017 one of the largest satellite operators dropped A2, A1 and AMEDIA HIT.
