ORF KIDS is an Austrian free-to-air children's television channel operating under the public broadcaster ORF (Österreichischer Rundfunk). The primary language of broadcasting is German. The channel launched its streaming service on October 23, 2024, and since September 2024, ORF Kids has become a full-fledged part of ORF's offerings, available through the ORF ON platform alongside the main channels ORF 1, ORF 2, ORF III, and ORF Sport+ .

The channel provides a daily television program block on ORF 1, accessible via standard broadcast, as well as a dedicated 24/7 live stream available exclusively through the ORF ON platform. This livestream is designed to be a safe, ad-free, and non-violent environment, offering high-quality, exciting programming for children of all ages. On air, ORF KIDS features a mix of classic and contemporary programming. The schedule includes popular animated series such as the Swedish-German production Pippi Langstrumpf (Pippi Longstocking) starring Inger Nilsson, and Barbapapa und Familie. It also features Austrian puppet shows like Servus Kasperl and magazines such as Tolle Tiere which stars the "Kater Kurt" . A core part of the schedule is the news segment ZIB KiDS, which provides daily news for children .

Beyond linear programming, ORF KIDS offers a comprehensive on-demand streaming library on kids.orf.at. This interactive platform features exclusive digital formats that go beyond traditional broadcast. Highlights include Science Busters for Kids (science experiments), YEAH! Die Talkshow für coole Kids (a talk show produced with children as hosts and guests), Yoga Kids, Klimakrach (environmental education), and ZIB Zack Mini (news in sign language). In 2025, ORF retired the long-running cross-border quiz show 1, 2 oder 3 after 48 years to focus on new domestic programming. The replacement format, The Super Class, launched in fall 2025 and features fourth-grade classes from across Austria competing in knowledge and skill-based game rounds. This new series is produced in Austria with presenters Fanny Stapf and Stefan Gruber .
