NourSAT live stream
NourSAT online television
NourSAT is the satellite broadcasting arm of Télé Lumière, which is the first Christian television network in Lebanon and the Middle East. The primary language of broadcasting is Arabic, with the network's executive director being Jack Kallassi and its programming director Marie-Thérèse Kreidi. Télé Lumière was founded in 1991 by a group of committed laypeople, including former Lebanese President Charles Helou, and is supervised by the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon. Télé Lumière launched its satellite station NourSAT in June 2003, covering the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa, and it began broadcasting to the Americas and Australia in September 2004. This service is offered as an online television platform, allowing viewers to access its Christian programming through the official website and mobile app.
On air, the NourSAT network refuses to broadcast political news and instead focuses on promoting Christian values of peace, love, and unity. The network is a non-profit organization that serves as a "daily bread and hope" for Christian minorities in the Arab world, surviving on donations from supporters. It includes several specialized channels: Nour al-Shabab (Nour El Shabeb) addresses youth problems and concerns; Nour al-Sharq focuses on Oriental Churches’ affairs; Nour al-Koddass broadcasts round‑the‑clock masses; Nour Music offers religious and classical melodies; and Mariam (Mary) channel (Nour Mariam) features cultural and educational shows. For those who want to watch live channel broadcasts, the schedule also includes talk programs, interviews, religious documentaries, and coverage of church events from Lebanon and the wider Middle East.
NourSAT is available via satellite on the Eutelsat 8 West B system at 8.0 degrees west and on the Nilesat system, broadcasting across the MENA region, Europe, North and South America, Canada, and Australia. The channels are unencrypted and free-to-air, making them accessible to viewers with standard satellite equipment pointed at these satellites. The network provides a high‑definition live stream through the official Noursat website at noursat.tv, which also offers a comprehensive program schedule, on‑demand videos, hymns, and an archive of past episodes.
Viewers can watch online the tv online service of NourSAT through the official website and via the Noursat TV mobile application, available for iOS devices, which has a user rating of 4 out of 5 stars. The app features a 24/7 live stream, church news from Lebanon and around the globe, a detailed TV grid, and a collection of archived videos and clips. Online television of NourSAT is accessible on any device, ensuring that its Arabic‑language Christian programming reaches audiences across the Middle East and the global Christian and Lebanese diaspora wherever they are.
NourSAT strives to be the premier Christian television network in the Middle East, serving as a beacon of peace and spiritual nourishment for the Christian community in the region and beyond. The mission of the network is to propagate the teachings of Christianity and foster cross‑cultural understanding and interfaith dialogue, spreading the “Good Word” in the face of violence and barbarism. The NourSAT office in the North of Lebanon was opened in November 2024, highlighting the network's continued expansion and commitment to serving Lebanese Christian communities. Thanks to its satellite distribution and digital platforms, the network provides the opportunity to watch live channel content, ensuring that its Christian religious programming reaches audiences across the Middle East and around the world wherever they are.
