Notélé is a Belgian regional television channel operating in the local news and information format. The primary language of broadcasting is French. The channel was created on November 12, 1977 in Tournai, Belgium, making it one of the longest-established local broadcasters in Wallonia. The channel is a non-profit association (asbl) and its name means "Our TV" in Picard, the traditional dialect of the region . The director of notélé is Florence Coppenolle, who succeeded Manu Guévart in spring 2023 after his retirement .
Notélé serves Picard Wallonia (Wallonie Picarde), a crossroads region between Lille and Brussels and between Courtrai and Mons . The channel covers news from 23 municipalities including Tournai, Ath, Mouscron, Comines-Warneton, Lessines, Enghien, and others, reaching approximately 350,000 potential viewers . The main broadcast center and editorial office is located in Tournai, with additional bureaus in Ath and Mouscron .
On air, Notélé produces a daily newscast called Le journal, airing Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM, covering current events in Picard Wallonia . The channel has invested in technical modernization, including the purchase of advanced monitoring equipment from PHABRIX to support new facilities for hearing-impaired and blind viewers, including audio description and OP47 data monitoring . The technical director of notélé is Arnaud Cresp .
