Al Jazeera English live stream

Al Jazeera English online television

Al Jazeera English is the round-the-clock English-language news channel of the Al Jazeera Media Network in Qatar, partially funded by the government of the country. It launched with an investment of roughly one billion dollars and was the first global English-language news channel headquartered in the Middle East. It was originally to be called Al Jazeera International; the name changed months before launch because the Arabic channel already carried an international scope.

Output is built around three main studios, in Doha, London and Washington. The schedule carries the daily Newshour alongside long-running strands: Witness and Al Jazeera Investigates for documentary and investigation, 101 East and Al Jazeera Correspondent for regional reporting, The Listening Post for media, Talk To Al Jazeera for interview and Earthrise for the environment. The channel describes its line as a focus on people and the events that affect their lives, on under-reported subjects, on listening to all sides and on giving a voice to those who have none.

That mix of field reporting and studio analysis has made it the main English-language window of the network, and it is the usual choice for viewers who follow the region in English. Watching needs no subscription, so anyone can watch live at any hour, and this TV Online page carries the same signal. If you want to Watch TV Online Free with world news in English, or stream online when the Gulf moves, the Qatar Live Stream keeps Al Jazeera English on screen.
