Legislative Assembly TV Nunavut live stream

Legislative Assembly TV Nunavut online television

Legislative Assembly TV Nunavut is the official television service of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut, Canada, broadcasting from the territorial capital Iqaluit. Reflecting the territory's consensus style of government, proceedings are carried in English and Inuktitut so that citizens can follow debates in the languages of public life, and the channel connects one of the world's most remote legislatures with its widely scattered population across the Arctic communities.

The grid features live sittings of the Legislative Assembly whenever the house is in session, the daily question period in which regular members hold the cabinet to account, and member statements that raise the concerns of Arctic communities — from housing and cost of living to language and culture — on the floor of the house. Recorded sittings and committee meetings are repeated between live broadcasts for viewers in every time zone of the territory.

For Nunavummiut and for everyone interested in how Canada's youngest territory governs itself, this channel is the assembly's open door.
