Al Alam online television
Al Alam is the Arabic-language news channel of Iranian state broadcasting, run out of Tehran by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting as part of its foreign-language arm, with the sister channel Al Kawthar beside it. The network styles itself Alalam News Network and has worked for years under the on-air slogan that still heads its own pages: the truth as you see it.
The newsroom explains the output by its own numbers: thirty-six bulletins a day, brief and full, fed from a desk wired to the world agencies and to a network of about fifty correspondents across forty countries, with principal bureaux in Damascus, Beirut, Cairo and Baghdad and reports coming in from Arab, European and Asian capitals hour by hour. The channel made its name on the region's hardest stories - wars, uprisings and elections covered live - and it still builds the schedule around them: panorama programmes, regional files, dialogue hours and a review of the Hebrew press. The website adds opinion, graphics, documentaries, economy, culture, sport and science, with a Persian edition beside the Arabic. In Iraq the signal even arrives without a dish, from a terrestrial transmitter near the border.
Watching needs no subscription, so anyone can watch live at any hour. For Arabic speakers it is Tehran's account of the region; for everyone watching the region it is a second pair of eyes, and this TV Online page carries the same signal. If you want to Watch TV Online Free with Arabic news out of Tehran, or stream online when a story moves in Damascus, Beirut, Cairo or Baghdad, the Iran Live Stream keeps Al Alam on screen day and night.
