LA CityView 35 online television

LA CityView 35 is the government-access television channel of the City of Los Angeles, operated by the city's Information Technology Agency. Broadcasting in English, the channel is dedicated to open and transparent coverage of municipal government and civic life, serving residents who want to follow how decisions are made in one of America's largest cities. From City Hall to the neighborhoods, it puts the machinery of local government on screen where everyone can see it.

The schedule is built around live City Council meetings, carried gavel-to-gavel along with council committees and public commissions, so viewers can watch debates and votes as they happen. LA This Week, the channel's weekly news magazine, rounds up programs, services and events across Los Angeles, while public affairs programs and informational shows explain the work of city departments, from sanitation and transportation to parks and public safety. Community event coverage and civic specials complete a grid focused on information rather than entertainment.

For Angelenos and for anyone interested in how a great American city governs itself, LA CityView 35 is a daily window into local democracy.
