Ahora TV is a Dominican free-to-air television channel operating in the news and information format. The primary language of broadcasting is Spanish. The channel is owned by ACDmedia, a communications group led by journalist and businessman Dany Alcántara. The channel broadcasts on virtual channel 3.1 and was officially launched in its fully digital format on September 3, 2025, becoming one of the first channels in the Dominican Republic to comply with the analog switch-off mandate established by the Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones .

On air, Ahora TV focuses its programming on information and current affairs. The channel features three daily news broadcasts (emisiones de noticias) and various spaces for analysis and opinion, featuring well-known figures from Dominican journalism and opinion leaders . The channel is led by Dany Alcántara as president of ACDmedia, with the channel’s mission centered on offering plural content that contributes to strengthening democracy and satisfying public expectations .

Ahora TV is available nationwide in open television (televisión abierta) through digital terrestrial television (Televisión Terrestre Digital), as well as on cable platforms. To guarantee a high-definition signal across the country, modern transmitters were installed in the North, South, and East regions . The channel is the sister station of Catorce TV (Canal 14), which maintains an alliance with the Mexican network TV Azteca to offer varied international programming. Ahora TV, however, maintains its distinct identity focused on news and analysis .
