Africa TV3 live stream

Africa TV3 online television

Africa TV3 is a Hausa-language religious channel from Nigeria devoted to Islamic teaching, and it broadcasts under the motto Tafarkin Rayuwa, the path of life. The output is built on instruction rather than on argument: lessons in faith, answers to questions sent in by viewers, recitation and explanation of the Quran, and the Friday sermon, all of it in Hausa. The station has published its programmes online since November 2012 and the archive has grown past 14,000 recordings, so an old lesson can still be found beside the current schedule. Teaching is carried by named scholars, among them Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdullah and Dr. Abdullahi Usman Gadon.

The week has a fixed shape. Shirin Fatawa runs almost daily, with viewers sending in questions on prayer, fasting, marriage and inheritance and scholars answering them on air. Hudubar Juma'a carries the Friday sermon and Shirin Mimbari keeps the same pulpit format through the week. Tafsirin Alkur'ani Mai Girma, with Prof. Mansur Isa Yelwa, walks through the Quran chapter by chapter, Tsangayar Alkur'ani, with Dr. Muhammad Nazifi Inuwa, follows the tradition of the Quranic school, while Addini da Rayuwa, Dandalin Matasa for younger viewers and the Athar Podcast fill the remaining slots with lessons on custom, conduct and everyday life.

Watching costs nothing and outside the satellite footprint no set-top box is needed: Watch Live from a browser, a connected television, a phone or a tablet, with recorded lessons available after each broadcast.
