Imai TV online television

Imai TV is a Tamil-language television channel from Sri Lanka: a newsroom with its eyes on the North and East, where the Tamil-speaking communities of Jaffna, Vavuniya and the hill country live their daily lives far from Colombo's attention. Small in budget but not in purpose, it treats the regional story as the national story, every day of the week. Broadcasting around the clock, the channel serves its audience in the language of their homes — the news of the island told for the people who need it most, without translation and without delay.

The schedule turns on Tamil-language news bulletins covering the island's politics, courts and communities, backed by breaking news alerts when events demand it — accidents, emergency announcements, public safety. In a country of monsoons, the channel's weather and flood warnings are a public service in the literal sense, watched by fishermen and farmers alike, from the Jaffna lagoon to the estates of the highlands.

Community television of this kind lives or dies by the trust of its viewers, and Imai TV works to keep it, day after day. Anyone can Watch Live over the internet and stream online from a phone, tablet or computer, free and without registration, so it is easy to Watch TV Online Free for the diaspora from Toronto to London. Open the Sri Lanka Live Stream and the island's Tamil voice is already on this TV Online service, morning and night.
