Afarin TV live stream

Afarin TV online television

Afarin TV is a Kurdish-language television channel for children broadcasting from Iraq, in the Kurdistan Region, launched on 10 February 2020 and known in listings simply as Afarin. It works in the Sorani dialect of Kurdish and is the flagship linear feed of the Afarin family, which also runs a cartoons strand dubbing animated feature films into Kurdish. The channel publishes a schedule of fixed slots, carries a live signal around the clock, and keeps a library of more than five thousand cartoons, songs and children's segments.

The grid mixes animation with learning formats built on simple questions: which vegetable or fruit this is, which animal this is, how much you know, finding the picture, and how a clever child behaves. Songs in Kurdish sit beside the cartoons, and a reading strand runs through the day. Explainer segments answer the questions children ask out loud, among them why the hair of grandparents turns white, what the white trails behind aeroplanes are and how snow is formed. The same operation runs the Afarin Academy, a section on raising children prepared by specialists and addressed to parents, together with a video games area. Nothing violent or frightening is carried: the tone is calm and the material is made for preschool and early school-age viewers.

The signal is distributed as a free live stream over the internet in high definition, with no subscription and no set-top box: it plays in a browser and on phones, tablets, laptops and television sets, and recorded material stays available after broadcast. Watch Live whenever a learning format or a cartoon begins, or stream online at any hour of the day, follow the Iraq live stream of Kurdish children's broadcasting, keep the channel open as TV online through an afternoon at home, and Watch TV Online Free with no account.
