ADN TV+ online television
ADN TV+ is the linear television feed of ADN, the Animation Digital Network service from France devoted to Japanese and Franco-Belgian animation. The platform was born from the merger of two catalogue businesses, KZPlay and Genzai, and opened on 16 October 2013 with some four thousand episodes, more than fifty films and a dozen simulcast series. Since 27 July 2022 it has been majority owned by the publishing group Média-Participations, having spent the preceding years inside an international streaming group, and it took its present name Animation Digital Network at that point while promising to back new French productions alongside the Japanese catalogue.
Programming is animation and nothing else. The catalogue runs across action, adventure, comedy, drama, fantasy, isekai, romance, science fiction, seinen, shojo, shonen, sport and thriller, mixing long-running shonen titles with recent simulcasts arriving shortly after their Japanese broadcast, subtitled or French-dubbed. Alongside the acquired library sit the platform's own original productions, among them Lance Dur, Le College noir, Dead Cells: Immortalis and Bestiale, which mark the shift toward financing French animation rather than only licensing it. Feature films and specials sit beside the series, so the linear feed carries long-form and episodic animation through the day.
Distribution is digital, with the linear channel carried on French streaming platforms and inside a national broadcaster's on-demand catalogue, and the same library on browsers and connected television sets. Watch Live whenever the scheduled feed is running, or stream online at any other hour from the catalogue. Follow the France live stream of French-language animation television, keep the channel open as TV online through an evening of simulcasts, and Watch TV Online Free where the free tier carries it, with no decoder.
