Entella TV is an Italian regional television channel operating in the generalist format. The primary language of broadcasting is Italian. The channel was founded in February 1986 by Paolo Pinat, a television repeater builder, and is named after the Entella River, which divides the towns of Lavagna and Chiavari in the Liguria region. The channel is currently owned by Marco Pinat, the son of the founder, and is headquartered in Lavagna, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, Liguria. The channel's slogan is "Accendi Entella TV... C'è il Tigullio" (Turn on Entella TV... There is Tigullio). The channel's logo features the local black stone slate (ardesia), a traditional material of the region.
On air, Entella TV has from its inception focused on local news coverage, producing a daily newscast (telegiornale) with local news. Following the Mammì Law of 1990, which required broadcasters to produce at least eight hours of original programming, the channel increasingly concentrated on local news and sports coverage. The channel's programming also covers cultural events, with a notable tradition of broadcasting live coverage of the annual Torta dei Fieschi festival in Lavagna, which is shown on large screens in local bars. The channel's signal is broadcast using 40 repeaters to reach the difficult orographic terrain of the Ligurian hinterland, serving a population of approximately 150,000 residents.
Entella TV broadcasts its entire programming in high definition (HD) on digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) in the Liguria region, excluding the province of La Spezia. The channel is available on Logical Channel Number (LCN) 75 and is free-to-air (FTA). The main studio is located on Via Dante in Lavagna. The channel also provides live streaming and on-demand content through its official website at entellatv.net, as well as through dedicated mobile applications for devices.
Entella TV strives to be the reference local television channel for the Tigullio Gulf region, connecting residents of Lavagna, Chiavari, and the surrounding provinces with local news, sports, and cultural events. The mission of the channel is to provide high-quality regional journalism and coverage of community life, with a strong emphasis on the traditions, festivals, and daily realities of the Ligurian territory. Thanks to its digital signal and extensive repeater network, Entella TV provides the opportunity to watch its local programming across Liguria, ensuring that residents of the region and former residents living elsewhere in Italy or abroad can stay connected to their home territory wherever they are.
