Duta TV is a local news station of South Kalimantan, operated by PT Duta Televisi Indonesia from Banjarmasin, and it has been on air since the late 2000s. A management change early in its life brought a new emblem: the earlier deer head gave way to nine jukung, the small river boats of Banjarmasin, drawn in bright colours as a sign of rowing together. The station carries the long-running line Inspirasi Banua and the newer motto Terpercaya dan Inspiratif, trusted and inspiring, and it was the first local television in the province to receive a permanent private broadcasting permit from the communications ministry.

Its output is built around news, with bulletins such as Duta Banua and morning and evening editions, and magazines like Secangkir Kopi Seribu Inspirasi, a cup of coffee with a thousand inspirations, and Lensa Banua; religion, sport and entertainment complete the grid, and most flagship programmes are produced locally. Cooperation with the television arm of the national news agency adds countrywide reporting to the schedule.
