Durangaldeko Telebista live stream

Durangaldeko Telebista online television

Durangaldeko Telebista, working under the short name dotb, is the local channel of the Durangaldea comarca in Biscay, in the Basque Country of Spain, and by its own account the only local television of the comarca. Its output is bilingual, in Basque and in Spanish, and it promises the complete information of the comarca with photographs, video and an agenda, keeping a separate news section for each of the fourteen municipalities.

The offer around the broadcast is wide: news items and interviews of the day, a culture section, a weather section and a briefs column, and a sports block that ranges from rural Basque sports, oxen trials and tug of war to pelota, cycling, triathlon and archery. A participation section lets a reader send in a news item, a letter to the editor, a photograph or a video, with the notice that the material may be broadcast, so the audience helps to fill the screen.

The channel reaches its viewers on the regional cable dial and by streaming, and its reporting stays close to the life of the comarca, from council chambers to village sports fields, and the studio stays in step with the rhythm of Durango and the towns around it.
