Dunya TV is a regional television channel from Sumqayit, the country's second largest city after the capital, set on the Absheron peninsula north of Baku on the western shore of the Caspian. It is run by the Dunya Independent Television and Radio Company, founded in the late 1990s and on air for well over two decades, first on terrestrial frequencies and later in digital.
