Dokusat online television

Dokusat is a German documentary channel that went on air on 1 January 2024 from Berlin, licensed there as a private commercial station under the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg. It belongs to the Berliner Fernseh Gruppe, five free-to-air programmes run by Deutsches Musik Fernsehen GmbH & Co KG from Axel-Springer-Str. 52 in Berlin, alongside DMF, TELEGOLD, Volksmusik.TV and Lilo.TV. The channel took over transmission capacity vacated by Welt der Wunder TV on Astra 19.2 East and is carried nationwide by Vodafone, PYUR and the DNMG regional networks. Watch Live the Berlin feed and you can stream online in 576i SDTV or 1080i HDTV, which carry the same programme.

The schedule alternates documentaries with teleshopping windows. From roughly 06:00 until 16:15 on-air selling dominates and, together with the advertising sold by Visoon, funds the station; the rest of the day belongs to documentaries, magazines, reportages, series and the occasional feature film. Animals, nature, travel, cooking, culture, knowledge and history form the backbone. Returning titles include Tiere vor der Kamera from ARD and BR, Helden der Evolution from ZDF and 3sat, Inseln der Zukunft from WDR and arte, Hitlers Blitzkrieg from Spiegel TV and the culinary magazine So schmeckt die Welt. Monthly theme days, a format borrowed from sister channel DMF, mark anniversaries with back-to-back specials.

Reception covers every linear route: Astra transponder 1.115 at 12.663 MHz horizontal, symbol rate 22.000, FEC 5/6, service ID 13103, plus 11.836/H/27500; cable in Germany, Austria and Switzerland including Swisscom and quickline; IPTV via Zattoo, waipu.tv, HD+ Streaming and municipal networks; and an HDTV player on dokusat.de with EPG and teletext switched on. For viewers beyond the German-speaking region this page is a way to Watch TV Online Free, keeping the same Germany Live Stream on a laptop, a television set or a phone.
