Aathavan TV live stream

Aathavan TV online television

Aathavan TV is a Tamil-language television channel based in the United Kingdom, broadcasting for the Tamil community of Britain and the wider European diaspora. Its name evokes the radiant sun, and its purpose matches: a daily window of news, culture and entertainment in Tamil for families building their lives far from Tamil Nadu and the north and east of Sri Lanka, from London and Birmingham to the cities of continental Europe.

The grid serves the community end to end: news bulletins that cover both the homelands and the diaspora's own affairs, cultural and religious programmes around the temples and churches of the community, music and film hours, and live coverage of the dates that matter, from Thai Pongal to the great festivals of the European Tamil calendar. Community announcements, interviews and call-ins keep the channel in conversation with its audience rather than above it.

For Tamils in Britain and across Europe, the channel is the community's own voice on the screen, familiar and near. Watching needs no subscription: Watch Live in a browser on a computer, a tablet or a connected television.
